The first major event of BWF calendar 2022, announced India will host top badminton players in Indian Open 2022 the event is sponsored by (Yonex-Sunrise). There is 25% increase in the Indian Open 2022 prize money, according to reports $350k distributed among the badminton players last year while this $400k adjusted.

No changes, for singles and double’s prize money factor, players earn $1.4k in singles men and women competition in last of 16, quarter finalist will earn $2.4k in singles and $2.9k doubles.
