Anthony Joshua is set to take on Kubrat Pulev in heavyweight boxing fight on Saturday, 12 December 2020 and this will be a Sky Box Office PPV showing in the UK. This fight was suppose to take place earlier in the year but was postponed due to pandemic and now Joshua finally face Pulev in what will be a tune up to big fights against Tyson Fury next year.
Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev Purse Payouts: the financial numbers behind the fight have kind of changed since March 2020. Fight is still a PPV event in the UK but it will be held behind closed doors at the London’s o2 arena which means not gate receipt. However slighter better PPV buys are expected and if that is the case Anthony Joshua with his tier based PPV contract with Sky will clear around $10 million from this fight.
Pulev who promised to donate half of his fight purse to help Corona virus battle in his home town. He is guaranteed $4 million to show up for the fight. This will be one of his biggest paydays and he might clear slightly more if PPV buys reach a certain number.
