Dillian Whyte has exercised his rematch clause against Alexander Povetkin and their much awaited rematch will be taking place on Saturday, 21 November 2020 which will be taking place at yet to be announced venue. Rematch will be exactly after 91 days off the first fight and Dillian Whyte put his career on the line in what should be a cracking of a boxing fight.

Whyte vs Povetkin 2 has been confirmed by Matchroom promotions and it will take place exactly 91 days after the first fight on Saturday, 21 November 2020. The venue is yet to be decided but London’s Wembley Arena and Royal Albert Hall are under consideration depending on Corona Virus restrictions.

Defeat in first fight for Whyte meant Povetkin took over the right as mandatory challenger for WBC heavyweight championship fight against Fury. The winner of rematch will get that chance making this fight a must win for Whyte who’s 11-fight winning streak ended when Povetkin stopped him in first fight.
