Currently no official details released by PCB but as far as new sources confirmed, that $22.2 million will be paid to hold the sponsorship rights for next years. The first edition take place in 2016, the reports suggest that $5.2 million has funded to get sponsorship rights until 2018. HBL signed three years deal again in 2019-2021 worth of $14.5 million. This four years deal make it one of the most expensive tournaments take place in Pakistan with ($22.5 million) rights.
HBL earned title sponsorship rights following a public tender process in which seven interested parties had collected the bid documents. PCB, chairman (Rameez Raja) said “I am happy that HBL extended their sponsorship rights, to strengthen relationship with PSL”. He further included that the purpose to get more unique cricket stars for Pakistan in the upcoming years.
