The event well known as Wolf777 News LPL T20, began in the last month December 2021. Starting date of the competition reported from 5th December event kickoff at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo with match between (Galle Gladiators and Jaffna Kings). This season the organizers increased the Lanka Premier League (LPL) prize money for the teams.

Beside, the LPL prize money there are cash awards for the players of the competition. Currently the details about LPL prize money revealed, according to which $150k distributed among the two teams who are playing finals, the winners share reported $100k and runners-up share $50k.
More details will be confirmed, once the semi finalist for the upcoming 2021 season announced, $10k awarded to the players with most wickets and $10k for top run scorer and player of competition may earn $20k. The individual prize money share based on estimated data not confirmed yet until organizers updated about it.
