Termed as Mini IPL due to the teams owned by Indian Premier League teams’ owners, SA20 is going to start in the very beginning of 2023. Dates and venues for the tournament confirmed. Opening ceremoney is on January 10 at The Wanderers Stadium while the champion will be decided on February 11. A total of 33 matches including the knockout and group stage matches schedule between 6 teams as the match fixtures for the 2023 season of SA20 T20 League revealed.

Group Stage
The group stage will follow the double round robbin standard. Each team will come across the every other teams twice during the group stage. A total of 30 matches will be played and the top 4 teams on the points table will qualify for the knockout stage. MI Cape Town vs Paarl Royals contest will feature the opening match on January 10 at The Wanderers Stadium. While the 30th match is in between Pretoria Capitals and Paarl Royals on February 7.
Knockout Stage
The top 4 teams from the group stage will qualify for the next part of the tournament, the knockout stage. Instead of following the IPL or PSL qualifiers, SA20 League will feature 2 semi-final matches and the winners of both matches will move to the decider. Final will be played on February 11 at The Wanderers Stadium.
