Euro 2020 was originally scheduled to take place from 12 June 2020 to 12 July 2020 but Covid-19 pandemic forced UEFA to postpone the event for another year. Now UEFA has confirmed that 2020 Euro Championship will take place from 11 June to 11 July 2021 however it will still be called “Euro 2020” for marketing and organizing reasons.
Apart from the one year delay everything else remains the same with 12 different cities hosting the tournament. All 24 Teams have been confirmed and the group stage draw was made which will remain the same. We take a look at entire UEFA Euro 2020 Match Schedule.
UEFA Euro 2020 Match Schedule:
The tournament begins with the opening game between Turkey and Italy on 11 June 2021 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. The group stages will take place from 11 June to 23 June. The knockout stage begins with 16 teams qualifying for the round of 16 (26 to 29 June) followed by quarterfinal (2-3 July 2021), the semifinals (6-7 July) and the big final on Sunday, 11 July 2020 at Wembley Stadium in London.
