Ricky Ponting is one of the most successful captains in the history cricket and won most trophies under captains job of Australia. After Steve Waugh, Pointing retain the most successful captains tag to his name including world cup wins. Ricky Ponting lead a squad of Australia from 2003-2009, during these years he won major ICC trophies including (ICC World Cup). Ricky Ponting hold the record of most international trophies in cricket.

#2 MS Dhoni : India : Retired:

Kapil Dev and Sourav Ganguly two most successful cricket captains of Indian team, but only one can bring the world cup Kapil Dev. After him, MS Dhoni in 2011 lift ICC World Cup trophy. Under the MS Dhoni’s captaincy, India topped the Test cricket rankings for the first time, in 2009. He become the third captain to win 100 overall matches in ODI. Darren Sammy listed among most successful captains of West Indies, He won major two back to back events of ICC T20 world cup 2012 and 2016. He is retired and turned pro cricket coach for Pakistan super league team.

#4 Clive Lloyd 

No true cricket fan can ever forget the name of the first-ever World Cup-winning captain Clive Llyod. Clive Lloyd is credited for leading West Indies to both of its ICC Cricket World Cup titles. West Indies won both the inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup in 1975 and the second Cricket World Cup in 1979 under Lloyd.
