Morbidelli has started his career in difficult circumstances as he lacked fund. That’s why, he raced in European Superstock 600. In 2013, he finally got a chance in Moto2 Championship. He couldn’t win until 2016. But in 2017, he proved his skills by winning 8 matches and 13 podiums. This made his way to the MotoGP category in 2018.
