MotoGP 2023 is starting in late March from the Portuguese Grand Prix and will meet its end in November with Valencia GP as the last event of the season. There will be 21 grand races as the dates confirmed. 2023 season is accompanied by various changes in the teams as some has signed new riders while the others have released some known names. Francesco Bagnaia, the champion of 2022 season of MotoGP, holds the current contract with Lenovo Ducati. He will remain under the contract till the end of 2024. Whereas, the runner up Fabio Quartararo has extended the contract with Monster Yamaha and it will last until 2024. Fans will also see some other mega changes in the event as well.
Suzuki has been dragged out of the tournament and a new team named RNF MotoGP, owned by Aprilla will feature. Suzuki’s Alex Rins has joined LCR Honda while Joan Mir got the contract with Repsol Honda. RNF MotoGP has signed the deal with Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez who previously played for Red Bull KTM and Tech 3 KTM respectively.
The 2023 MotoGP calendar dates confirmed. A total of 21 events will be played in 2023. Starting from Qatar race, there are Argentinian, Americas and Spanish Grand Prix in row as well. The series will go in the same way till end of April. Afterwards, there is a break for Jerez Test where it will start again with French GP in the mid of May.
