Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile is organizing the fiftieth season of grand racing event, The World Rally Championship in 2022. Start of championship is in January 2022 and will come to its end in November 2022. Rally Japan will be the final event as the WRC Schedule announced. Sébastien Ogier is the defending champion and co-champion. having secured their eighth title in 2021 rally event.

Rally Sweden is making its comeback in the 2022 season after its one year absence due to COVID pandemic. It will relocate from Torsby, Värmland northwards to Umeå in Västerbotten County. There is a contract with Mexico to hold WRC event in 2022 and 2023. Same is with Rally Chile however these are not included in the calendar.
The most important point is the returning of Rally New Zealand after 9 years. The WRC players salaries 2022 revealed. Sébastien Ogier, is the highest paid player of the 2022’s season of WRC Rally.
