Cricket Australia Extends Partnership With Toyota
Cricket Australia (CA) has announced a four-year extension of its partnership with Toyota Australia that will include all areas of the game across the country.
The previous deal included only Australia’s Man team. However, The new four-year extended deal will see Toyota continue on as a partner of not only the Australian men’s national team. But also the KFC Big Bash League, the Australian women’s national team, and Webber Women’s Big Bash League. The deal also covers CA’s inclusion and diversity programs.
Moreover, Toyota will also support local and regional cricket through its Toyota Good for Cricket Program. The will also cover Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships.
Nick Hockley, Cricket Australia Chief Executive Officer, commented over the extension:

He further said “Since 2012, Toyota has supported community cricket with the Good for Cricket program. Helping hundreds of clubs across Australia raise over AU$5 million. That they can put towards new kits, cricket ground upgrades, or buying new gear.”
He added “This season, the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle has enabled grassroots clubs to raise AU$849,970 by selling over 169,000 tickets. Helping them make cricket more accessible for all.”
