Cricket Australia Extends Partnership With Toyota for next four years. On March 10, Cricket Australia Has announced a four-year contract extension with automobile giants Toyota. The deal will include all areas of the game across the country.

Cricket Australia Extends Partnership With Toyota

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced a four-year extension of its partnership with Toyota Australia that will include all areas of the game across the country. 

The previous deal included only Australia’s Man team. However, The new four-year extended deal will see Toyota continue on as a partner of not only the Australian men’s national team. But also the KFC Big Bash League, the Australian women’s national team, and Webber Women’s Big Bash League. The deal also covers CA’s inclusion and diversity programs.

Moreover, Toyota will also support local and regional cricket through its Toyota Good for Cricket Program. The will also cover Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships.

Nick Hockley, Cricket Australia Chief Executive Officer, commented over the extension:

We are delighted to be continuing our long-running partnership with Toyota Australia. And are particularly grateful for the fundraising support they have provided local clubs and volunteers over many years through the Good for Cricket raffle.

“Toyota Australia’s commitment to be a part of the journey of all cricketers. From the community level through to elite teams and competitions. They align perfectly with our commitment to ensuring cricket is a sport for all.”

In response, Vin Naidoo, Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, added:

“Toyota has been a long-standing supporter of grassroots cricket across Australia. We’re delighted to extend our partnership to all divisions of cricket for the 2022-23 season and beyond.”

He further saidSince 2012, Toyota has supported community cricket with the Good for Cricket program. Helping hundreds of clubs across Australia raise over AU$5 million. That they can put towards new kits, cricket ground upgrades, or buying new gear.”

He added This season, the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle has enabled grassroots clubs to raise AU$849,970 by selling over 169,000 tickets. Helping them make cricket more accessible for all.”
