MLS announced to Continues Digital Trading Card Partnership With Sorare. Fantasy soccer platform Sorare has announced that it will continue its partnership with the Major League Soccer Players Association.
The deal will begin with the release of more than 1,000 MLS player cards in the coming days. The digital cards are backed by the Ethereum blockchain and collected as NFTs.
The digital platform Sorare Feature more than 140 officially licensed clubs across 140 countries. The Sorare app lets fans buy, sell and trade NFTs. NFTs that act as digital player cards. It will build their rosters and compete in fantasy soccer games.
The platform first added digital cards for more than 700 current MLS players after partnering with the MLSPA in July 2020. Sorare featured 31,500 MLS cards in circulation during the 2020 season, as well as nearly 90,000 trades.

MLS Sorare Partnership
Sorare’s Partnership with MLS is the company’s first with a major US sports league, club, or governing body. The firm will be looking to build on MLS’s tech-savvy and youthful audience to gain visibility.
The Major league soccer NFT fantasy game will be launched in spring 2022 with aim of unlocking a new era of sports. New era sports for both on and off the shield.
Apart from MLS, Sorare already has partnerships in the world of sports with LaLiga, Bundesliga, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus.
