Puma To Replace Nike As Serie A Official Match Ball Supplier From 2022

According to media reports in Italy Nike and Serie A decided again renewing their match ball deal for Serie A and it will end by the end of current 2021/22 season. Puma has agreed to become new official match ball supplier for Serie A just like they did with Spanish la Liga in €5 million a year deal.

Nike and Serie started their deal back in 2007 and after 15 years of Nike producing Serie A match-balls the deal ends in 2022. Interestingly before the 2007 season Serie Did not had league-wide deal with any manufacture and instead every home team were playing with their official kit supplier branded match balls.

Puma & Serie A Official Match-Ball Deal:

The official deal between Puma and Serie A is yet to be revealed but according to italian media its verbally agreed and just need official confirmation before releasing it to the press.

The contract will be 5 year from 2022 to 2027 and Puma will produce match balls for Serie A throughout the season for every single match.

Serie A will be receiving €5 million a year from Puma under the 5 year contract. This money will be used as grass root development program in Italy.
