Olympics 2020 were suppose to take place in Tokyo in the summer of 2020 but due to global covid-19 pandemic it was postponed for a year and now olympic committe has confirmed Olympics 2020 will take place in Tokyo in the summer of 2021 but will keep its branding name of “Tokyo Olympics 2020” due to marketing reasons.

Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) will produce the home feed which will be distributed among networks around the world who will use it with their own branding. In Europe Eurosport has the coverage rights for whole europe except France and Eurosport will sub-license the Olympic feed to local european free-to-air channels of every country.
